Indefinable, amazing, original, these are the words often used to describe Miriam Leah. Since her arrival in New York she has cultivated a massive following from busking in Central Park at the Bethesda Terrace. After years of honing a finely edged voice of a classical opera singer, she has released an album of all original music. To have full control over her music she founded her own business, Space Opera
Studios that recorded and produced all of her albums. From an early age she has been involved in the arts,
specifically music. Her talent is only surpassed by her fierce drive to excel. To say that she is a star would be unduly inaccurate, more
like a comet that one witnesses once in a lifetime. She titled her original album “The Favorable Truth” which can be taken to mean that
the truth, even if unpleasant, is better than a commoditized lie. Her album from 2018 includes works by Gershwin and Mozart. Her sound is thunderous with complex lyrics and deftly arranged music. In collaboration with Patrick O’Malley her recent original music performances include Sidewalk Café and The Bitter End in Greenwich Village and The Bethesda Terrace, the inspiration for her debut album “Songs from the Terrace."
