Electric guitarist wanted for live band My project is in the post-progressive area and mixes many different influences, including progressive metal / progressive rock, trip hop, post rock, electronica, neo-classical, and a bit of jazz and avant-pop. Listen to the album: https://fanlink.tv/os-di The new songs I'm currently writing will partly be more prog metal, but also a bit doom and ambient. We recently opened the Euroblast Festival. Next year we want to play more concerts, but we're only just starting with booking. I'm looking for someone with a good sense of rhythm on the guitar who is experienced and confident with metal playing techniques, odd time signatures, and performance with in-ears and click. It's best if you already have experience with 7-strings, ideally even your own. I hope that you can not only play everything I give you, but also that you are keen to contribute your own ideas, tinker with sounds, and help shape the live arrangements a little, in whatever form. We will find a way for you to creatively contribute your interests and skills. Rehearsal room available, sub available, various equipment available for shared use. So far we are a pure FLINTA* line-up, most of us are queer and non-binary. My other instrumentalists (bass, drums, keys & clarinet) are extremely sweet, creative and wonderful. We have different backgrounds, some of us have studied their instruments, others have not. We all share a great passion for music. Ideally you should also have experience with 7-string guitars. I'm looking for someone who not only can play everything I put in front of them, but who is also keen to contribute their own ideas, tinker with sounds and help shape the live arrangements a little, in whatever form.
