About
ABOUT ME: Hey, I'm Jonas from Zwickau. I've been playing electric bass since 2017 and attended the Robert Schumann Conservatory in Zwickau for four years. During my school years, I participated in various musical projects, primarily as a bassist, but also frequently as a backing vocalist. In 2022, I joined my first professional band: Camel on Fire from Zwickau. With this band, I gained a lot of experience: songwriting, studio sessions, music video recording, social media management, and various gigs at smaller and larger events. My greatest strength in music is probably my stage presence. Moving around on stage is essential for me. I'm currently looking for a singer for a new project. An advanced guitarist and drummer are already on board! Our average age is between 24 and 31. We have a rehearsal space, a home studio, and recording equipment. We usually try to get together once a weekend and rock out! We're always on the lookout for new songs, gigs, and cover sessions :)) If you're interested, feel free to message me here or on Instagram @piraz_dnfc! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- INFLUENCES: Nu-Metal, Rock, Metal, Pop Punk... and of course, all the pop acts of the 90s, 00s, and 10s :D Primarily listened to bands: Red Hot Chili Peppers, Deftones, Billy Talent, Linkin Park, Korn Weezer, Limp Bizkit, Slipknot, Offspring, Green Day --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- EQUIPMENT: Instrument: Fender Jazz Bass Playing Style: Finger/Slap Rig: Ampless rig with pedalboard. Get to know
As far back as I can remember, I've always been interested in music. At age five, I finally got my first cassette player, and shortly after, I discovered Linkin Park's Hybrid Theory and Meteora cassettes in my older siblings' closets... Then came Michael Jackson's Thriller and Bad albums, and my fascination with music was set in stone. When we bought RHCP's Stadium Arcadium with friends in 2006 and all listened to it together, I knew I wanted to make music. :D
