In the little free time I have, I often write lyrics. Sometimes it's a verse, sometimes a poem, and sometimes a longer story. But most of all, I love writing song lyrics. When I hear a song and feel that it touches me, a story emerges from the small thoughts in my head. This forms the basis of my German-language song lyrics. My lyrics move harmoniously with the melody and the vocals in a symphony. That is, lyrics, melody, and voice carry each other. This is particularly important to me. My lyrics should be touching, profound, and also push the boundaries. Because often we only notice things when we are on the verge of loss. The everydayness of taking things for granted robs us of a true perspective on these very things. But my lyrics are by no means sad; rather, they are thoughtful. They are intended to be both a hand and a shoulder. Many songs are also based on the principle of interpreting catchy tunes from earlier years with German lyrics. In my opinion, this gives a song a renaissance or a completely new expression. With my new lyrics, I try to tell a completely different story with its own content alongside the original text.
