WAITING FOR MEL - the band's repertoire ranges between blues, rock and swing and, in addition to some classics, also includes many lesser-known pieces and original compositions. The band from the greater Nuremberg area succeeds in giving the songs their own expression with their typical interpretation and also providing personal impulses with their own strong lyrics.

Andreas Dürr on drums and Joachim Schrätz on bass ensure the right groove. Experienced and with great empathy, they create the right basis for the band's broad spectrum. Claus Dürr contributes a solid harmonic framework and expressive solos with powerful riffs on the guitar. Frontwoman and keyboardist Melanie “Mel” Söllch presents the WAITING FOR MEL program with a clear, precise voice and individual interpretations and always manages to establish a good connection with the audience.
