I have been playing in various bands since school, e.g. Beatles covers, rock, rock jazz, blues, Latin. I also write my own pieces and have good opportunities to record semi-professionally at home. As a child/teenager I learned classical piano and studied musicology as a minor at university. This can be very helpful, especially when composing.
