WTTC Band

We are a film rock band from near Neuschwanstein Castle. We are two guys (lead vocals/piano/rhythm guitar & drums/percussion), both 27 years old, have been playing together for 16 years, and are looking for a lead guitarist. Our music is a mix of (hard) rock and film music. Our influences include TOTO, The Rolling Stones, Queen, U2, Foo Fighters, Hans Zimmer, John Williams, and many more. We have our studio in our hometown in the Allgäu region (approx. 1 hour 10 minutes from Augsburg). Here, we have not only several instruments (including 10+ guitars, 2 acoustic drum sets, 1 grand piano, keyboards, etc.), but also professional photo and video equipment (including a Netflix-certified camera and a drone). We also have equipment for rehearsals and recording (PA, microphones, mixing desk, PC & sound libraries, etc.). A jam-packed creative workshop, in other words. We both work in creative fields (video & television, marketing, design & conception). Currently, we're a studio band, but we definitely want to get back on stage. We played live regularly until 2020, but since the coronavirus pandemic, we've only had time for the studio. Personal support is particularly important to us. We want to make music our lifelong profession and hobby. You're a perfect fit for us if - ... you enjoy our music. - ... you can already play lead guitar at an advanced level. - ... you have a passion for film, theater & drama. - ... you have a general interest in art, culture & history. - ... you're committed, take initiative, and are willing to compromise (#banddemocracy). - ... you can communicate honestly, openly, and friendly. - ... you have a great sense of humor – from dark to silly – we laugh a lot. - ... you're into makeup, costumes & outfits. - ... you might even like to dance (that would be awesome, but not a must). - ... you should also be able to sing or maybe play the bass or piano a bit (that would be great, but not a must). - ... you also dream of being on the big stage one day. A quick mindset checklist from our side: - we are tolerant, pacifist and very open-minded. - we are atheist or agnostic with a strong critical stance towards the church and religion. - we are “normal”, neither completely left-wing nor conservative and certainly not right-wing. We are very interested in politics, but not ambitious. - We like to grill together, make burgers and listen to Buena Vista Social Club. But we don’t judge anyone who puts an eggplant on the grill. - we are a bit of nerds: Star Wars and Lord of the Rings are often topics of conversation.
