Rockabilly meets German pop – looking for a musical partner 🎙️👗 Hello everyone, I'm looking for a male musical partner for a very special project close to my heart. After many years in a show dance and comedy group, I want to express my creative side in a new way – with something that has always brought me great joy: singing, entertaining people, and giving them a wonderful time. My idea: A charming musical duo in the style of the 50s/60s (rockabilly, petticoats, post-war economic boom charm) to perform at musical afternoons, dance cafés, or small events in retirement homes, day care centers, or similar facilities. Musically, I envision well-known German pop hits and classics – songs that evoke memories, invite people to sing along, and simply spread good cheer. For example: Red Lips Are for Kissing, It Was All the Bossa Nova's Fault, Heartbreak Isn't Worth It, Two Little Italians, I'm a Girl from Piraeus, I Want a Cowboy for a Man, Marina, Marble, Stone and Iron Break, I Don't Want Any Chocolate, and many more classics from this era. I love to sing and have stage experience – especially as a frontwoman, with a passion for hosting, entertaining, and captivating audiences. I'm not a professional singer, but I'm musical, have a strong voice, and perform with all my heart. What I'm looking for: A friendly man who's enthusiastic about this project and also feels at home in this musical and stylistic world. You should: enjoy music and stage presence, be reliable and motivated, have a passion for performing with charm, humor, and heart, and be comfortable in the 50s/60s/Rockabilly style (or open to it). Bonus, but not required: You play an instrument and can accompany, or you have technical know-how regarding sound/playback. I'm in my mid-40s and would love to hear from people who see themselves in a similar age group – but more important than a number are personality, a shared wavelength, and genuine enthusiasm for the project. My goal isn't to make a lot of money or launch a big career. It shouldn't be a joke, but it's also not a cut-and-burn professional project.
