Singer seeks musicians / band

Singer seeks musicians/band. I'm a singer looking for musicians for a band project. Stylistically, I primarily work in pop, jazz, and funk. It's important to me that music theory and improvisation are also important to you. Besides covering songs, I'd love to explore creating original music together in the future. I've started developing my own song ideas and am curious to see how brainstorming and performance can evolve within a band. I've performed on stage a few times and would like to expand on that. I would describe my overall musical experience as advanced, but my performance experience is more at the beginner level. I welcome your feedback – I was thinking of classic band instruments like bass, drums, guitar, piano, and possibly saxophone, but other combinations are also possible.
