[LOCATION] Würzburg [INSTRUMENT] electric guitar (wanted) [GENRE] Progressive stoner metal Hello dear string acrobats! We (bass + drums, both mid 40's) are looking for a guitarist for our newly formed band. We are aiming for music in the field of progressive stoner metal. We orientate ourselves a bit towards bands like Black Sabbath, plus a dash of Tool and selected bands from the stoner genre (King Buffalo, Kyuss, Purple Dawn, The Space Lords,...). Musically, you should bring along creativity and the ability to improvise, the desire to jam together, as well as the ability to work together constructively - and a fuzz pedal! Your motivation to set up a great band with us and to get involved proactively is also really important to us! We are not beginners with our instruments, but we are not professionals either. Particularly pronounced technical skills are not a prerequisite (but of course they don’t hurt either), but a good feel for music is. Band experience is desirable but not mandatory. The aim is to make great music together and to present it on stage. There is a spacious rehearsal room (warm, clean, bright, new port), digital mixer, small PA and recording facilities as well.
