The heyday of a raw and earthy style of rock'n'roll in the early noughties, with prominent representatives at the time such as The White Stripes, the Arctic Monkeys and The Strokes, is well known to connoisseurs. All of these bands with their extremely challenging and innovative styles contributed to an important and almost legendary era in music history. However, one band, much more a duo, stood out in this rich musical moment and quickly established themselves as a pillar of modern blues and rock'n'roll - The Black Keys. Daniel Quine Auerbach and Patrick James Carney, two tireless and passionate musicians from Akron, Ohio, left a musical milestone in 2001 with their debut "The Big Come Up". Their dynamic and, above all, electrifying sound of blues, rock and a pinch of garage was virtuoso. Like thunder and lightning united in perfect harmony, the duo immediately created an unstoppable musical storm.
