NUMBER WITH NO NAME – the power trio from the Euregio Meuse-Rhine region, who feel no obligation to stylistic boundaries or musical conventions. Since their formation, NUMBER WITH NO NAME have played numerous stages in their region – including the Kimiko Festival, the atmospheric open-air stage at the German-Belgian border crossing Köpfchen, and the renowned Monday concert series in Aachen's Cathedral Cellar. Their song "Future-Proof" even made it onto Belgian Radio's playlist in 2021. With a unique blend of folk, grunge, reggae, and rock, NUMBER WITH NO NAME create a sound that is both deeply rooted and boldly forward-looking. Slide guitar meets funky bass lines, sometimes raw and distorted, sometimes crystal clear and rhythmically driving. Soundscapes, refined with subtle delay effects or raw energy, form the foundation for lyrics with substance – poetic, socially critical, and always with an eye for the essential. The founder and bandleader believes that a song isn't born from genre, but from an emotion to which the musical style must correspond. With his bandmates, he has found kindred spirits who share this view and together musically round out the whole. The band is named after a song by the group "Ben Harper and Relentless 7," a song by a musician who particularly inspired Phil.
