NUMBER WITH NO NAME Band

NUMBER WITH NO NAME – the power trio from the Euregio Meuse-Rhine region that feels just as free from stylistic boundaries as it does from musical conventions. Since their formation, NUMBER WITH NO NAME has performed on numerous stages in their region – including the Kimiko Festival, the atmospheric Waldbühne at the Köpfchen border crossing between Germany and Belgium, and the renowned Monday concert series in Aachen's Domkeller. Their song "Future-Proof" even made its way onto the Belgian Broadcasting Network's program in 2021. With a unique blend of folk, grunge, reggae, and rock, NUMBER WITH NO NAME creates a sound that is both deeply rooted and boldly forward-looking. Slide guitar meets funky bass lines, sometimes raw and distorted, sometimes crystal-clear and rhythmically driving. Soundscapes, refined with subtle delay effects or brute energy, form the foundation for lyricism with substance – poetic, socially critical, and always with an eye for the essential. The founder and bandleader believes that a song is born not from a genre, but from an emotion to which the musical style must fit. In his bandmates, he has found comrades who share this view and, together, round out the whole musically. The band is named after a song by the group "Ben Harper and the Relentless 7," a song by a musician who particularly inspired Phil. Philip Offermanns (guitars & vocals, founder and mastermind of the band. Also responsible for songwriting, arrangements & groove – as well as artwork, graphic and web design and Holy Merch :-D ) Thomas Lausberg (drums & percussion.
